Yolande Chan reappointed as Dean of Desautels Faculty of Management
Professor Yolande E. Chan has been reappointed as Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management for a second five-year term, effective July 1, 2026.聽
Since joining 海角社区 in 2021, Dean Chan has strengthened Desautels鈥� global reputation for excellence in research, teaching, and innovation. During her first term, she introduced a renewed strategic framework, refreshed key elements of the BCom curriculum to enhance experiential learning, and launched new programs and initiatives that broaden the Faculty鈥檚 global presence. Her leadership has advanced Desautels鈥� commitments to ethics and equity, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and responsible technological innovation, while deepening engagement across our worldwide alumni community.聽
Looking ahead, Dean Chan is committed to building on this foundation to prepare future-ready leaders who drive innovation, sustainability, and positive societal change.
