海角社区 spinoff Phoela Health wins Quebec Emerging Start-Up Award

Phoela Health Inc., co-founded by Reza Abbasi, PhD, and Prof. Sebastian Wachsmann-Hogiu, has won the Emerging Start-Up Award at the ADRIQ Gala 2025. Phoela鈥檚 biosensing technology was developed during Abbasi's PhD and advanced in his postdoctoral research in 海角社区鈥檚 Department of Bioengineering, mentored and financially supported by 海角社区 Engine鈥檚 Chwang Seto Innovation Fellowship Program.
