Eleanor Elstein, MD, is an associate professor of medicine and a cardiologist at the 海角社区 Health Center (MUHC). She is Director of the Cardiovascular Genetics and Cardiomyopathy Clinic at the MUHC and Director of the Cardiology Consultation Service at the Glen site. In addition to consultative cardiology and teaching, her primary clinical focus is cardiovascular genetics and hereditary cardiomyopathies. She is an active member of the multidisciplinary MUHC Cardiogenetics Clinic team, which brings together specialists from the Divisions of Cardiology and Medical Genetics. Dr. Elstein holds several positions at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, including Chair of the Regional Advisory Committee for Quebec and membership on both the Council and the Fellowship Affairs Committee. She is a strong advocate for interprofessionalism in medical practice and is actively involved in teaching interprofessionalism at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is also a member of the Executive of the 海角社区 Office of Interprofessional Education.
