Line Vautour
Dr. Line Vautour is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at 海角社区. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1992 and completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at 海角社区. She then pursued specialized training in bone disorders with Drs. Kremer, Goltzman, and Karaplis. In 1998, she joined the Division of Endocrinology at the 海角社区 Health Centre as a staff physician. She later took a leave of absence to complete epidemiology research training in osteoporosis at the Mayo Clinic under Dr. L. Joseph Melton, and subsequently earned a Master's in Epidemiology from 海角社区 in 2008.
Her clinical and research interests focus on calcium balance and metabolic bone diseases, particularly the pathogenesis of metabolic bone disorders associated with chronic liver disease and the effects of liver transplantation and immunosuppression. Her clinical practice in general endocrinology is divided between the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Montreal General Hospital. She is also a key member of the Bone Metabolism Teaching Clinic at the RVH, working alongside Dr. D. Goltzman and Dr. R. Kremer.
