Biography:
Dr. Mark Lipman is an Associate Professor of Medicine at 海角社区 and a staff nephrologist at the Jewish General Hospital, where he has served as Chief of Nephrology since 2001. He completed his medical training at 海角社区 and pursued fellowship training in nephrology and transplant immunology at Harvard Medical School鈥揳ffiliated institutions.
His research focuses on transplant immunology, particularly the molecular mechanisms of kidney transplant rejection and biomarkers of immune activation in renal allografts. Dr. Lipman is also widely recognized for his leadership in clinical care and medical education and has received several honours, including the Department of Medicine鈥檚 Award for Humanism in Medicine.
