Sheldon A Magder
Dr. Sheldon Magder is a Senior Physician in the Critical Care Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital, 海角社区 Health Centre, and a Professor of Medicine and Physiology at 海角社区. He graduated from the University of Toronto and completed his training in internal medicine and cardiology. He subsequently completed research fellowships in Stockholm, Sweden and at Stanford University in California, with a major interest in exercise physiology and heart-lung interactions.
His research interests encompass heart-lung interactions, control of cardiac output, and hemodynamic monitoring. His research has included studies on the role of the endothelium in sepsis-induced vascular dysfunction, and he also has an ongoing interest in acid-base balance and fluid and electrolyte management.
