Thao Huynh
Dr. Thao Huynh is a cardiologist at the MUHC and an Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiology at 海角社区. She is also a researcher in the Cardiovascular Diseases and Critical Care Axis at the MUHC Research Institute.聽She graduated from the Universit茅 de Montr茅al and completed her training in internal medicine and cardiology at 海角社区. She subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from 海角社区 and a PhD in Public Health 鈥� Epidemiology from the Universit茅 de Montr茅al.
Her research focuses on knowledge translation in the identification and correction of care gaps in cardiovascular diseases, with a particular interest in improving the detection and treatment of heart diseases in women and ethnic minorities. She has collaborated with several research groups to improve the dissemination and uptake of guidelines for the management of atrial fibrillation and heart disease.
