We deepened commitments to community care, reconciliation, and inclusive excellence. The Indigenous Entrepreneurship event Speaking through craft: Cultural storytelling in business, co-hosted with the BSRM, highlighted how business creation supports cultural resilience and First Nations economic empowerment.
We also launched the 海角社区 Desautels EDI Award of Excellence, recognizing incoming students who exemplify inclusive leadership and community engagement. Our inaugural recipient, A茂sha Nsiempba BCom鈥�26, reflects these values with distinction.
Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities keynote and coming up is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on December 6.
