International Centre for Youth Gambling Holiday Campaign reaches 100% participation from all Canadian and U.S. lotteries

Each year, NCPG and the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviours at 海角社区 ask lotteries to support their聽responsible gaming campaign and help raise awareness regarding the risks of underage lottery play during the holiday season.

For the first time since its inception, the 2018 Holiday Campaign achieved 100% participation from all Canadian and U.S. lotteries.

ECP hosts Dr. Fredrick A. Schrank, J. William Fulbright Specialist in School/Applied Child Psychology

The world-renowned Fulbright program is an educational movement based on the principle of scholarly exchange between the United States and other countries. Earlier this semester, Dr. Armando Bertone - Associate Professor and graduate program director of ECP鈥檚 School/Applied Child Psychology (SACP) program - was honoured to have hosted Dr. Fredrick A.Schrank as a J. William Fulbright Specialist in School/Applied Child Psychology.

Parents shouldn鈥檛 worry if their infant doesn鈥檛 sleep through the night by 6-12 months of age: New research led by ECP's Dr. Pennestri

New parents often expect their baby to start sleeping through the night by around six months of age. Indeed, they often receive messages from paediatricians and others about the importance of early sleep consolidation. But authors of a study in the December 2018 issue of聽Pediatrics聽found that a large percentage of healthy babies don鈥檛 reach that milestone by six months of age, or even at a year old.
