You are cordially invited to the second edition of Family Medicine Academic Day, a flagship initiative of the Department of Family Medicine, bringing together residents, graduate students, and clinicians to showcase high-quality scholarship. Held annually, the event highlights a diverse range of work from innovative research to impactful quality improvement projects, all rooted in the real-world practice of primary care.

Location: Centre Mont-Royal, 2200 Rue Mansfield, Montreal, H3A 3R8

Tentative schedule:

  • 8 a.m. Breakfast and check-in
  • 9 a.m. Welcome and Introductions
  • 9. 30 a.m. Keynote with Professor Christ Burton, Professor of Primary Medical Care, University of Sheffield, UK.
  • 10 a.m. workshops: session 1
  • 12 p.m. lunch
  • 1 p.m. workshops: session 2
  • 4 p.m. closing remarks
  • 4 p.m. cocktail

This event is organized in collaboration with the following programs:

  • the Family Medicine Postgraduate Residency Program
  • the º£½ÇÉçÇø Primary Care Practice Based Research Network (PBRN)
  • the Family Medicine Graduate Students Society (FMGSS)
