My research program aims at improving health care trajectories of persons with lived and living experience of dementia throughout the听care journey, using mixed methods research (health administrative databases analysis with advanced causal inference methods, qualitative methods including听focus groups, interviews, deliberative听consultations听and nominal group technics). I adopt participatory and intersectional approaches.听听

  • To measure inequities in health听services鈥櫶齯se from underdiagnosis, to primary care, specialist听care听and urgent care use (hospital and Emergency Department visits)听of persons with dementia听across gender, racialization, socio-economic听position听and language.听

  • To describe听lived experiences of health care services use of persons with lived and living experience of dementia disadvantaged by听their gender, racialization, socio-economic听position听and language.听

  • To generate听recommendations听to improve the current situation听
