This panel delved into the importance of State-led processes and the role of UN bodies in preventing genocide and global atrocities. This event was held in conjunction with the General Assembly marking the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime.
