Golden Rule Day Pop-up
Did you know that April 1-7 is Golden Rule Week, and that April 5 is ? This celebrates how the principle "treat others as you want to be treated" has been taught throughout history by many religious traditions and cultures, and how this it can help bring greater unity, peace, and meaning into our lives and the world.
Last year the MORSL team, including our multifaith volunteers, started a new tradition of celebrating Golden Rule Day with a special tabling event. We find it's a great opportunity for the multifaith community to rally around shared values that inspire us and help provide a moral compass and sense of purpose in our lives and interactions.
This year鈥檚 tabling will happen on Thurs., April 9th from 12:00-3:00 PM in the McConnell Engineering Building. We invite all interested to stop by. You'll find us at the tables in the hall of the ground floor.
MORSL is providing some interactive materials to promote conversation, curiosity and learning. This is a great opportunity to talk about and reflect on what the 鈥榞olden rule鈥� and kindness looks like in your tradition or in your life, as well as in others' lives.
