Programme

Lorenzo Somma, Artistic Director and Conductor

The º£½ÇÉçÇø Jazz Choir highlights some of Québec’s most influential artists of the past decades. Echoing, in its title, the world of Robert Charlebois and Diane Dufresne, the program also brings to life the songs of major figures such as Oscar Peterson, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Diane Tell, and Leonard Cohen. Performed by around twenty singers and a rhythm section of students from the Schulich School of Music, these songs are reimagined through jazz harmonies and swing, capturing the spirit of Montréal — from the St. Lawrence River to Saint-Laurent Boulevard.

Works by DOMINIQUE FILS-AIMÉ, OSCAR PETERSON, LEONARD COHEN, ROBERT CHARLEBOIS, DIANE DUFRESNE, and others

or in person at the Box Office one hour before the event.
