The 2026 Shirley Metcalfe Lecturer is Mme Lucie Denoncourt, erg., (BScOT, MEd) who will discuss "Adventures in rehab: 海角社区 1992 to present."
Shirley Christina Metcalfe (n茅e Fletcher) was a Class of 1947 graduate of 海角社区's School of Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT). The Shirley Metcalfe Lectureship was made possible by a generous donation in 2013 from her estate to 海角社区鈥檚 SPOT.听The Shirley Metcalfe Lectureship occurs during the Name-Tag Ceremony, where our OT and PT students are honoured for reaching the milestone by receiving their official 海角社区 name-tags indicating they have passed from classroom learning to clinical learning. Topics for this Lectureship often highlight interprofessionalism, and the wide scope of practice in OT and PT which help to provide excellence in care to a diversity of populations in Quebec.听听
