Speakers: Dr. Amal Bessissow, MD, MSc, FRCPC, FACP
Dr. Amal Bessissow completed her medical degree at Universit茅 de Montr茅al in 2008. She then completed internal medicine residency at 海角社区, followed by completion of a General Internal Medicine Fellowship at 海角社区 in 2013. From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Bessissow completed a perioperative medicine research fellowship at McMaster University and Population Health Research Institute. She completed a master鈥檚 degree in health research Methodology at McMaster University. Currently, she is an assistant professor at 海角社区 Health Center (MUHC), a clinician-investigator, and a member of the cardiovascular program at the MUHC Research Institute. Since July 2015, Dr. Bessissow holds the positions of Medical Director of the RVH and MGH Preoperative Clinics and Director of the MUHC Perioperative Medicine Program.
