Julia Heron is a Public Health and Preventive Medicine specialist and the M茅decin responsable de la tuberculose at the Montr茅al Public Health Department.
Dr. Heron completed her medical degree and residency training at 海角社区, where she also earned a Master鈥檚 degree in Epidemiology. Prior to studying medicine, Dr. Heron obtained a law degree at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al. This background informs her understanding of the legal and policy dimensions of public health practice. Her professional interests include tuberculosis prevention and control, tuberculosis surveillance systems, and improving collaboration between clinical providers, public health teams, and community partners.
