International Agriculture


Overview

As a student in the International Agriculture Minor, you will acquire a global and applied understanding of agriculture as a fundamental tool to help rural development, alleviate poverty and ensure food security, especially in the developing world. You will learn through coursework at 海角社区, and potentially through field experience in developing countries. During field experience (semester, short course or internship) you will participate in local community projects, field visits and other activities that sensitize you to agricultural and food security issues in developing countries.


Careers

Upon graduation, you will be well-equipped to pursue work in a variety of areas at home or abroad. You can focus on one of multiple components of international agriculture, from scientific research to policy.听
