What is the听MC3H听Summer听Internship Program?听
The internship offers 海角社区 undergraduate and graduate听students the opportunity to gain experience through participation in research projects. During the summer, each听intern听is involved in a听research project at the intersection of climate change and health听under the supervision of a听member听of the 海角社区 Centre for Climate Change and Health听and听will receive a modest stipend.听
Who can apply? (Eligibility Criteria)听

Senior undergraduate (U2 and above) and graduate students at 海角社区 (MD/MDCM students included)

Students from all disciplines听听

Students interested in听research at the intersection of climate change and health听

Student that is in good academic standing and returning in Fall 2026听(proof of enrollment听required)听
What do Interns do?听

Work听210 hours听over the summer听on听a听research听project听under the supervision of a听Centre for Climate Change and Health Member.听听

Supervisors will distribute hours at their own discretion and will therefore be project specific.

Develop a work plan in collaboration with your supervisor outlining the activities and contributions for your听internship.听听

Present the results of their research at Global Health Night听student poster session听in Fall 2026听and/or an MC3H听mini-seminar.听
What do Interns get out of this program?听

Earn $3,000听over the course of the internship.听听

Gain hands-on research experience in a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic setting.听听

Have the opportunity to听present your work,听fostering听knowledge听translation and public speaking skills.听
