Mastercard Foundation Scholars Lean Startup

The program, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is designed to train, educate, and empower Mastercard Foundation Scholars at 海角社区. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and peer learning, participants will be introduced to the world of entrepreneurship and acquire tangible tools to establish ventures that drive meaningful socio-economic impact in their communities.

Key learnings

  • Introduction to the entrepreneurial journey through an African lens

  • Understand your market and what matters to customers

  • Identify your problem and design your solution

  • Articulate your value proposition

  • Craft and communicate the key elements of a business plan

  • Establish realizable goals for your startup

Program format

Hybrid program: sessions will be virtual and in-person at the Dobson Centre to accommodate our global network of speakers and mentors.
