Reem Ramadan

Reem Ramadan (they/them)

Research Assistant 1 - Teamwork Facilitator

Reem Ramadan is a Teamwork Facilitator who collaborates with professors and students to foster teamwork skills through an EDI lens. They hold an MA in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut. Their background in Computer Science, combined with expertise in group development theory and facilitation, allows them to approach EDI and teamwork issues in STEM comprehensively by integrating personal experience with theory and formal knowledge. In their role with the Office of E-IDEA, Reem contributes to research exploring how experiential methods can support the integration of teamwork skills and EDI practices across engineering courses and student projects.

Renee Pellissier

Renee Pellissier (she/they)

Research Assistant 2 - Teamwork Program Lead

Ren茅e Pellissier is a Learning and Development Practitioner specializing in group dynamics, experiential learning, and qualitative research. As the Teamwork Program Lead, Ren茅e develops adaptive partnerships with course instructors and departments to integrate inclusive pedagogy into undergraduate curricula. They also contribute to research advancing teamwork and EDI skills in engineering education. With an MA in Human Systems Intervention and a BA in Human Relations from Concordia University, as well as experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Ren茅e is an experienced facilitator who believes in collaborative methods and a systems approach to change.

Masoumeh Zaare

Masoumeh Zaare (she/her)

Research Assistant 1 - Educational Developer

Masoumeh Zaare, Ph.D. is an Educational Developer and Teamwork Facilitator who turns EDI research into practical curricula and assessment tools. Masoumeh earned her Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Concordia University, where she explored hybrid problem-based learning by examining the lived experiences of marginalized students and their instructors, identifying systemic barriers, and developing actionable strategies to make STEM education more equitable and supportive. As an Educational Developer with the Office of E-IDEA, Masoumeh partners with faculty and students to build a more inclusive culture in engineering, translating critical research into transformative classroom practice through evidence-based workshop design and collaborative community building.
