Due to freezing rain all in-person classes and activities on Wednesday, March 11, will be cancelled. Welcome to the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences

Earth and Planetary Sciences is a dynamic field encompassing everything from geologic hazards to climate change. We are a community of researchers dedicated to exploring Earth and other planets' past, present, and future.

Our department comprises diverse professors and researchers and a vibrant community of postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students.

Our department has small class sizes, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where you will quickly get to know your classmates and professors. All students have the opportunity to actively participate in engaging research projects.
