GEOG 495: Field Studies in Physical Geography (3 credits)

Field course fee: Additional Department fee of $609.34 will be charged to student fee account to cover the cost of transportation, accommodations, local fees and all meals.
Prerequisites: 6 credits from the following list of systematic Physical Geography courses:聽GEOG 203,聽GEOG 305,聽GEOG 321,聽GEOG 322,聽GEOG 470,聽GEOG 471. Additional relevant courses may be considered as well (please indicate these courses in the application form).

Enriched Educational Opportunities: Need-Based Bursary Program (EEO)聽
Enriched Educational Opportunities (EEOs) are high-quality off-campus mobility or other experiential opportunities, and are officially recognized by your Faculty. They foster self-development and help students transition successfully to the workplace or graduate studies. The University is striving to expand opportunities for undergraduates to participate in EEOs and to make them accessible to all undergraduates regardless of their financial capacity.
Bursaries聽are administered by the聽Scholarships & Student Aid Office聽and are non-repayable forms of financial assistance based on聽demonstrated financial need to help undergraduate students with the additional costs associated with the extra opportunities.
Your Faculty will determine which opportunities shall be recognized for consideration to apply for the EEO bursary program. It generally involves a vetting/selection process, academic oversight and clear learning outcomes.

- Field Courses聽and Field Study Semesters聽
- Unpaid or insufficiently paid聽Internships and Research Opportunities (excludes 海角社区 on-campus or in affiliated hospitals and research institutes)
- Research Abroad
- Summer French Immersion Program聽coordinated by聽International Student Services
