What is the Co-Curricular Record (CCR)?

º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is a document that recognizes a student's involvement in learning opportunities outside the classroom. While the CCR is no longer available in myInvolvement, current students can view their CCR participation on their new Student Experience Record in the myFuture platform. Students and alumni can also be sent to a potential employer or educational institution.

To view a sample CCR, please consult our Sample Co-Curricular Record.

Please note that no new activities or participation can be added. Historical CCRs for all active students have been migrated to myFuture and included on the new Student Experience Record (SER).

  • had a learning component.
  • were not a degree requirement or required as part of an academic course. (An exception was made for some Faculty-approved EEOs.)

Request a CCR

To request an Official CCR, fill out the .

º£½ÇÉçÇø CaPS provides an official document validating a student’s achievement and involvement through º£½ÇÉçÇø’s defined co-curricular programming. An official CCR is generally used when students are applying to graduate/professional programs, internships, grants or employment.

An official CCR must be requested by students when they complete the form. It can only be sent by a member of the CCR/SER team with the resource accounts myInvolvement [at] mcgill.ca or experiencerecord [at] mcgill.ca to the authoritative agencies indicated on the student’s application.

An "unofficial" CCR (or simply called a CCR) was the version accessible to students on the myInvolvement platform; however, since the launch of the SER, it is no longer available.

NOTE: Please read these points before completing the form:

  • We currently do not offer a French version of the official CCR.

  • You must allow at least 2 weeks for the official CCR to be sent to the indicated recipient(s) after your form is processed and approved. Please be advised that it can take longer for us to process the form during peak times in the term (i.e., start and end of the term).

  • We are not responsible for invalid email addresses or sending the official CCR before the deadlines. Please note that we only send the official CCR to email addresses from authorized recipients/agencies.

How to ask for a CCR verifier

Complete the . You must include the names of all the institutions and/or companies you are applying to on the form.

What can we verify

Students and alumni can request to list the myInvolvement Team as reference for experiences listed on their CCR when applying to schools, internships, or jobs.

We can only verify official experiences that are already recorded on your co-curricular record. Make sure that the information you submit with your application matches what is recorded on your CCR, including dates and time commitment. For example, if there is not an exact number of hours listed on your CCR, we cannot verify a number of hours for your application.
