Due to strict licensing agreements with publishers, off-campus access to most electronic library resources such as databases, full text electronic journals and textbooks, as well as other online services are restricted to the following members of the º£½ÇÉçÇø community:

  • Faculty with a º£½ÇÉçÇø ID number
  • Students with a º£½ÇÉçÇø ID number
  • Staff with a º£½ÇÉçÇø ID number
  • Residents with a º£½ÇÉçÇø ID number

NB Any individual who is on campus (downtown or Macdonald) will be able to access most library e-resources without having to authenticate, either by connecting to the º£½ÇÉçÇø wired or wireless network, or by using computer workstations located in the library.

If you work in one of º£½ÇÉçÇø’s affiliated hospitals and do not have access to º£½ÇÉçÇø Libraries' eResources, there are still several ways to access the information you need.

  1. Use Hospital-Licensed eResources

    You may have access to eResources that are licensed specifically for use by your hospital or department. Check with your hospital library or information services for details.

  1. Request Materials via Interlibrary Loan

    You can request º£½ÇÉçÇø Libraries materials through your hospital’s interlibrary loan (ILL) service. This allows you to borrow books, articles, and other resources from º£½ÇÉçÇø’s collections.
     
  2. On-Campus Access at º£½ÇÉçÇø

    When visiting º£½ÇÉçÇø’s downtown or Macdonald campuses, you can access º£½ÇÉçÇø Libraries e-resources by:
     
  • Connecting to the º£½ÇÉçÇø wireless network using a personal device, or
  • Using one of the public computer workstations available at any º£½ÇÉçÇø Libraries location. To learn more about the resources available to you, please contact your hospital library.
