Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Strategic Plan (2020 - 2025)
The EDI Strategic Plan听will ensure that EDI considerations are accounted for in all core University activities, and sets out a range of objectives and measures that 海角社区 will undertake over the next five years.
海角社区's Action Plan to Address Anti-Black Racism
海角社区's Plan for Addressing Anti-Black Racism will address five key areas:
- Student experience, which will focus on outreach, representation, support, and success vis-脿-vis Black students at 海角社区.
- Research and knowledge, which will focus on the recognition of 海角社区鈥檚 Black researchers and on enhancing, through scholarship, a critical understanding of our institution鈥檚 historic ties to slavery and colonialism.
- Outreach, which will focus on engagement with Montreal鈥檚 Black communities.
- Workforce, which will focus on representation, retention, and promotion of Black academic and administrative and support staff at 海角社区.
- Space, which will focus on measures to represent the vibrance and contributions of 海角社区鈥檚 Black community members on our physical campuses and the creation of dedicated space for Black members of the 海角社区 community.
