The Office of Medical Learner Affairs is pleased to welcome Dr. Chika Stacy Oriuwa, physician, poet, and advocate, for an inspiring virtual keynote on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 8:35–9:25 a.m. (Zoom). This talk, which is part of OMLA’s Self-Curriculum for undergraduate medical students, is open to all members of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Oriuwa will explore the neuroscience of leadership and creativity, showing how a curious mindset fuels adaptability, problem-solving, and bold decision-making. Learn how leaders can harness curiosity to drive innovation while fostering trust, collaboration, and connection within diverse, dynamic teams.

Attendees will leave with practical strategies to cultivate innovation, psychological safety, and meaningful connection, key ingredients for long-term leadership success.
