Founded in 1829, the 海角社区 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences was the first faculty established at the University and the first medical faculty in Canada. With the renamed Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, it became the School of Medicine in 2020. Today, 海角社区 is the leading medical research university nationally, and is renowned for its excellence in the health sciences worldwide.
