Teaching and Learning Community

The field of generative AI continues to evolve and provide both opportunities and challenges for teaching and learning.

This “Teaching and Learning Community” provides a space to exchange ideas and build connections with colleagues exploring similar questions around the integration of AI in higher education.

Take part to: 

  • Get ideas for designing gen AI tools into your assessment tasks.
  • Learn how other instructors are managing gen AI in their classrooms.
  • Find inspiration for using gen AI as part of your teaching practice.
  • Explore the latest research on gen AI and pedagogy.
  • Share ideas with colleagues. 

Membership

Available to all instructors on a continuous basis. While we aim to foster community and continuity, participants can join at any time, and it is not necessary to attend all meetings throughout the academic year.  

Meetings

  • One hour approximately twice per term (held online).
  • Each meeting will include a presentation component and a group discussion component.

TAP provides resources and support to instructors seeking to integrate generative AI into their teaching practices, but we recommend that any use or non-use of these tools align with course learning outcomes.
