The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully-funded postgraduate award that enables young scholars from around the world to study full-time at the University of Oxford.
are selected for two years of study at the University of Oxford, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. A Rhodes Scholarship covers all University and College fees, a personal stipend and one economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the scholarship, as well as an economy flight back to the student's home country at the conclusion of the scholarship.
The Class of 2027
Applications for the Rhodes entering Class of 2027 will open in mid-2026.
An online information session on applying for the Rhodes entering class of 2027 will be held on March 25, 2026 at 3 PM. Participants will have a chance to hear from recent Canadian Scholars about their application journey and Oxford experience. .

海角社区's Internal Review Process
All applicants must submit an endorsement letter from their undergraduate institution to apply to the Rhodes Scholarship, regardless of whether they are applying for the Canadian Rhodes Scholarship or another nation's scholarship.
Canadian Scholarship
海角社区 will only endorse a maximum of two applicants for each Canadian region excluding Quebec. 海角社区 will endorse 2-4 applicants for Quebec.
Other Nations/Global Scholarship
海角社区 will endorse a maximum of two applicants per Nation/Global Scholarship. This means that even though countries like the US have multiple scholarships available for different states, 海角社区 will still only nominate a total of two applicants per nation. In certain extremely exceptional circumstances, we may endorse a third candidate for a Nation/Global Scholarship.
Endorsement Requests
All Rhodes applicants require an endorsement letter from the university they received their undergraduate degree from. Information on requesting an endorsement from 海角社区 for to become a member of the entering class of 2027 will be available in mid-2026.
