Chabad at 海角社区 Rohr Jewish Centre
has been serving the Jewish community on campus since 1974. Housed in a historic three-story Victorian mansion at 3429 Peel Street that was upgraded in 2016 following $2.2 million renovation, the centre has been revitalized.
Affiliated with the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, the center adheres to traditional Orthodox practices. It provides a community for students to learn and socialize through various events and programs. Chabad also houses caf茅 Le Pletzl in its basement, which is open to the public and serves Kosher meals.
